IUT has been nominated by the Mayor of Ipwich, Cllr Jane Chambers, as one of the mayor's charities 2010-11.
IUT aims to
- enable closer collaboration and patnerships between groups working with homeless people
- to work with others establishing a day centre and emergency overnight centre
- to create a 'social enterprise' including a 'food bank' to provide gainful paid employment for the service users
IUT are setting up a day centre at 1 Black Horse Lane and are looking for premises in which to establish an overnight facility..
