Supplementary School Tutor
Part-time, £20 per hour
Fixed-term contract, 2 hours per week
(2.00pm - 3.30pm on Saturdays)
30 minutes preparation time, setting up and briefing volunteers on Saturdays
The post-holder will be required to initially teach Maths and subsequently English and Science to primary school children. You will ideally have previous experience of working in Primary schools and the ability to identify, develop and deliver a programme of learning for the local Bangladeshi and other BME young people. You will work closely with the Project Manager, other partners and volunteers to support the young people to achieve their potential. You will have excellent communication skills and proven organisational ability. You will be required to prioritise your workload and have some understanding of the national curriculum.
