The funding becomes available as soon as construction starts on the Suffolk energy-from-waste facility in the New Year.

SITA Trust receives its funding from recycling and waste management company, SITA UK, but has an independent board that decides which projects to support. Since it was set up in 1997, the Trust has distributed over £83 million and is likely to hand out a further £8 million in 2012.

Find out more at a special event which SITA Trust will run in Great Blakenham village hall on Thursday 26 January 2012 at 6pm. SITA Trust will provide a presentation on the types of projects that can be supported and will be able to answer any questions.
