ActivLives Community Singers have decided to spread their wings and launch a new singing group in the Whitton and Whitehouse area of Ipswich.
Keep on Rockin 2, will start on Thursday 26th January at Mayo Court Sheltered Housing Scheme, 144 Waterford Rd, Ipswich, IP1 5NJ
These taster sessions will run every Thursday for 12 weeks, from 6.00pm – 8.00pm and cost £2.00 per session beginners welcome, refreshments and toilets available.
You don’t have to be a talented singer, or have experience of singing in a choir, we just want people aged 18 years and over to come and join us to ‘have a go’, sing with others and make new friends and more importantly have fun.
We will be covering many styles of music, as well as the more challenging pieces that help us to improve our singing techniques and build our confidence.
If you like singing, perhaps live on your own then this is a great way to meet other local people and make new friends. Some of Keep on Rockin 1 will be there to welcome and support new members and make people feel at ease.
These sessions have been funded by the Ipswich Community Fund.
