A one-day training designed to give a practical knowledge of legal structures, issues involved with setting-up a Social Enterprise

- The definition of Social Enterprises and their key features
- Common characteristics of Social Enterprises
- What distinguishes Social Enterprises from other types of organisations
- Examples of successful social enterprise & reasons for their success
- Looking at the most popular legal structures for Social Enterprises
- Analysing the positive and negative sides of these legal structures
- How to set-up a social enterprise – the initial steps
- Pitfalls and considerations when starting a Social Enterprises
Who should attend?
- Voluntary and Community Organisation (VCO-s) that want to create a social enterprise subsidiary
- Individuals who are thinking of starting a social enterprise
Booking a place:
Booking in advance is essential. Places are limited to two people from the same organisation. Cost £ 60.00 per person / organisation
The Enterprising Reward:
Two participants will have the opportunity to secure a £60.00 financial reward for their organisation at the end of the day’s training. Could it be you?
