Volunteer Ipswich currently has over 200 volunteering vacancies which need to be filled. People in Ipswich and Suffolk Coastal are being sought to ask their local shops and services to help promote these opportunities.
Volunteer Ipswich produces monthly posters and menus, which give a flavour of the variety of different volunteering opportunities which are available in the Ipswich and Suffolk Coastal districts. They would like to get these distributed in as many places as possible so are looking for sociable people, who appreciate the value of volunteering, to ask their local shops and services if they would display the posters and menus.
Without volunteers, many local communities and charities are unable to carry out their services or run their events. Volunteering does not always require a long-term commitment, it could simply involve offering your time to a single event.
