Big Ideas
Environmental improvements:
- Plant more trees in the street scene.

- New swings in the park
- Repair all the roads in Whitton estate. After 2 very bad winters there are holes and ruts in the roads - Our cars are being ruined
- The park at the top of Bramford Lane badly needs a new a new playground. It would be nice to have a planted seating area for us older residents. My grandson calls it the 'rubbish park'. There are only swings and 2 benches on it
- To put a new playground for all ages on the big expanse of green at the beginning of Kerry Avenue - behind the bus shelter - might stop the children vandalising the trees
- A seat and sides on the existing bus shelter at the Bramford Lane end of Lovetofts Drive, as most of us are elderly with age related problems and it is very cold waiting for the bus. A 'Residents Only' sign on the car park to stop week end footballers using it would be a big help

- Get real! We need fixed potholes in roads!! Not more expenditure needing servicing. Check my kerb! IP1 5EQ
- Recycle centre in Whitehouse where we could recycle & make ££'s for the area. Even if it broke, even the help in the area would benefit all
- To sort out Broomhill pool, such a waste, near & local for families etc
- To promote recycling by having awards for best street for recycling. Different categories-maybe a recycle centre/swop where anything could be taken

- Sort out the car parking in Chesterfield Drive (opposite doctors surgery, nursery and scout hut. Then residents can park on their own property
- More disabled/wheelchair accessible equipment at swing parks

Community Support
- Help local community centres advertise what they do
- Fund a youth or OAP group at the Whitehouse Community Centre
- Fund making the Community Centres more child friendly i.e games equipment, pool table. Arcade games etc
- As there are several allotments in the area, it would be a good ideato have a few market stalls on the Castle Hill park, possibly the first Saturday in the month for the selling of veg & fruit. Also it could be open to craft holders, home made jams etc. Much like a small market and maybe a tea/coffee stall & cakes. It could be very much a family affair. Of course in bad weather it could be held in either the local church halls or part of the school area.
